Terms of Service

SecretVoIP · Last updated {date} 1 February 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SecretVoIP prepaid SIP voice service and customer portal. By creating an account you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you have questions, contact support on Telegram at @SecretVoIPSupport or through the customer portal.

1. Service description

SecretVoIP (the “Service”) provides prepaid SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) voice connectivity, allowing customers to register standards-compliant SIP applications or hardware against SIP lines issued through the SecretVoIP customer portal (the “Portal”) in order to place and receive telephone calls. The Service includes the Portal itself, account management tools, usage reporting, caller ID configuration and prepaid balance management.

The Service does not include the supply of internet connectivity, SIP client software, handsets or any third-party application used to register against a SIP line. You are responsible for the compatibility, configuration and security of any device or application you use with the Service.

2. Eligibility and account registration

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to register an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide — including your nickname, username, email address and Telegram handle — is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

Each account is issued to a single Team Owner, who is responsible for all activity on the account, including activity carried out by Team Members they invite. You may not register an account on behalf of a third party without authority to bind that party to these Terms, and you may not create multiple accounts to evade suspension or verification requirements.

3. Prepaid balance and non-refundable credit

The Service operates on a prepaid basis. Calls and any other billable usage are metered and deducted from your account balance in real time or near real time. You must maintain a sufficient balance to place outbound calls; the Service may block outbound calling automatically once your balance is exhausted.

Balance added to your account is credited once payment is confirmed and is non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed by us in writing. Balance has no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, exchanged for other goods or services, or redeemed for cash, and does not expire solely due to the passage of time unless your account is closed or terminated in accordance with these Terms.

You are responsible for reviewing usage and balance information available in the Portal. We are not liable for usage charges incurred as a result of compromised credentials, misconfigured equipment, or use by anyone you have granted access to your account.

4. Acceptable use and prohibited traffic

You agree not to use the Service, directly or indirectly, to originate or facilitate:

  • Fraudulent traffic, including toll fraud, wangiri (call-back) schemes, PBX hacking or interconnect bypass (SIM box / GSM gateway) fraud;
  • Unsolicited bulk calls, robocalls, telemarketing or SMS that violate applicable do-not-call, consent or anti-spam laws;
  • Traffic intended to harass, defraud, impersonate, threaten or deceive any person or organisation;
  • Any call flow that misrepresents the true origin of a call or that spoofs caller ID for an unlawful or deceptive purpose;
  • Any activity that infringes intellectual property rights or violates the law of the jurisdiction from which or to which a call is placed.

We monitor aggregate traffic patterns for signs of fraud and abuse and may throttle, block or terminate traffic that we reasonably believe violates this section, without prior notice, to protect the network and other customers.

5. Caller ID and legal compliance

You may only configure outbound caller ID that you are legally authorised to present — typically a number you own, lease, or have been expressly authorised by its assignee to use. Presenting caller ID you are not authorised to use, or altering caller ID with intent to defraud or cause harm, is prohibited and may constitute a criminal offence in many jurisdictions.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all laws applicable to your calling activity, including consumer-protection, telemarketing, recording-consent and caller ID authentication laws (such as STIR/SHAKEN-equivalent requirements) in the jurisdictions from and to which you place calls.

6. SIP credential security

SIP line credentials (domain, username, password) are confidential and are your responsibility to protect. You must not share credentials outside your team, must use a strong, unique password for each line, and must notify us promptly if you suspect a credential has been compromised.

You are responsible for all usage registered against your SIP lines, including usage resulting from lost, stolen or leaked credentials, until you notify us and we are able to rotate the affected credentials or suspend the line.

7. Service availability

We aim to provide reliable service but the Service is provided on a best-effort basis without guaranteed uptime. Voice quality and availability can be affected by factors outside our control, including your internet connection, third-party carriers, and upstream network congestion. Planned maintenance windows are announced in the Portal where practicable.

The Service is not intended, and must not be relied upon, for contacting emergency services (such as 911, 112 or equivalent numbers). SecretVoIP does not guarantee that emergency calls will connect, that location information will be transmitted, or that the Service will function during a power or internet outage. Maintain an independent means of reaching emergency services at all times.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, or any individual SIP line, immediately and without prior notice where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, prohibited traffic, credential compromise, non-payment, or a breach of these Terms, or where required by law or a carrier partner. Where practicable we will notify you of the action taken and the reason for it.

You may close your account at any time through the Portal or by contacting support on Telegram. Closing an account does not entitle you to a refund of any remaining prepaid balance except as described in Section 3 or as required by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SecretVoIP and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including losses arising from dropped calls, missed emergency calls, service interruptions or unauthorised use of your account. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the prepaid balance held on your account at the time the claim arose.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements or our business practices. Material changes will be announced in the Portal or by email in advance of taking effect. Continued use of the Service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to an update, you should stop using the Service and close your account.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the jurisdiction in which SecretVoIP is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
